How do you set the local echo in Win2k? I've been trying to do this for a while but I can't find the option in the properties.

Drives me nuts when I telnet to a mail server and can't see what I'm typing.

File...Properties...Settings...ASCII setup..."Echo typed characters locally". Thats assuming you are using Hyper Terminal.

Or "Set local_echo" if using telnet.

Where do you find this setting. I looked under properties and i can't find it on any Tab.
