Bad news, all 2000 MCSE's have to take all the .NET exams to remain certified.

3 months later:
Good news, all 2000 MCSE's will not have to take .NET exams to remain certified.

Now if I could just learn how to subnet, I could take on 216. It shouldn't be as hard as people say if I can master 218 right? That's like a combo test right there.

did you read my free subnetting guide at www.mcsefreak.com/subnetting.htm ? That should be all you need to subnet.

THe 216 is a lot harder than the 218. Sure, some of the objectives are in common, but the degree of difficulty is much higher. I recommend plenty of hands-on with RRAS in particular.

Funny you should mention them. I tried to read their stuff, and frankly it gave me a headache. That's why I wrote my own -- that and the fact that I got tired of answering those questions and having to type it all out all the time

But one should check several sources until talks to ya Check out www.howtosubnet.com as well!
