| Honestly, tell the truth, who wears the pins you get with the MCP/MCSE welcome kit?
At trade shows do the guards wisk you back to a "MCPs only" break room where they serve up wine and cheese?
Do you wear them to job interviews? What a better way to say "I'm totally committed to MS networking dispite the lawsuit."
If you wore the pin to a Linux user group meeting, would the penguin heads rough you up?
Honestly, does anyone wear the pins?

| I'm an instructor at a technical college teaching courses on MS products. I will usually wear my pin on the first day of the semester to let my students (those that don't already know me) know that I am certified. We also have to wear our name badge too. After the first couple of days both go back in the desk drawer. | |

| Not me. Not sure what to do with them. How much do you think I can get for a pin if I sell them on ebay? Just a thought. | |

| I say sell it on eBay and make a buck or two! | |

There is not enough money in this beautiful world for me to wear one of those things. And I have tons of them, I might add. But no way am I going outside with one of those gaudy things on. I may be a geek, but I am not a nerd

| I never got a PIN for MCP, I got a PIN when I got my MCPS back in '96... Lost that one in the subway of NYC...
I did get a early achiever card out of M$ when I got my MCSE2k... I drilled a hole on it and put on a chain and attached to my organizer zipper.
I do have to say that MCSE's ID is much better than Cisco's.

| I wish they would keep all that garbage stuff and give me a denim shirt or a hat, something I can actually use... | |

Here! Here! Perhaps even a Microsoft dew rag, or an A+ hair scrunchie?
Coffee cup would be the best, IMO.

| Toss em in a box. Someday when your kids ask you if you have any trophies, and being the homebodies that most of you probably are (I know wasn't captain of the football team) at least you have something to show them (it's better than nothing...). =P | |

now we're talkin'....MCP polo shirts for passing your first test.
think I can sell it to M$? I could use the slogan: Free MCP polo shirt with your first exam pass to replace the one we took from you to afford your training process!!
or:
M$ cares about it's MCPs...enough to return the shirts off their back!
Nah, I don't think they'll buy it! |
