Where I work we use Dell PowerEdge servers. Our web/email server has dual 733mhz procs & 1gb ram and we have over 1200 email users using it. Hope this helps some.

WOW! REALLY POWER!

Actually, are PowerEdge servers the best choice for the medium & large business at the moment?

In different jobs I've used Compaq, HP, and now Dells. They all have their strong points. We use the Dell here because they give us a good deal because we are an educational institute.
BTW, we just got in 4 new rack cabinets with 8 new Dells. Each cabinet has 2 PowerEdge 2550 (dual 1ghz, 1gb ram, 4-18gb SCSI drives), UPS, KTM switch, 16 port switch, and LCD monitor. Believe it or not, these are not for production use. We get to use them to teach our students hardware RAID configurations and how to setup a "real" server. This will help the students get some much needed hands-on before going out into the real world.
