| I received my MCP after passing the 70-210 Windows 2000 Professional test on April 16th. How long does it usually take for Microsoft to send you the welcome package or whatever it's called? | |

| I took my 70-210 exam on 4-15-02 and only got my "Welcome Kit" on 5-06-02, so it was 3 weeks exactly. You should have it the next few days. | |

| Have you received an e-mail from MS congratulating you on becoming an MCP - if so it states it usually takes 4 - 6 weeks for the welcome pack to reach you. If you are that worried e-mail them and ask them where it is and they should give you an actual date when it should arrive. | |

| I got my MCP welcome kit within 2 weeks of getting the official acknowledgement via e-mail. The MCSD took longer, in the neighborhood of 4-6 weeks. The MCDBA I am still waiting for, some 3 weeks after receiving the e-mail acknowledgement.

| No I'm not that worried, just curious as to the amount of time it takes. I know they have alot of new MCPs everyday and theres a ton of paperwork to process. No real hurry.
Also no I have not received a Welcome Email from Microsoft yet. | |

| MS is iffy on upgrading the transcripts; sometimes they do it within days of a pass, other times it takes them over two weeks (which was the case after I passed 70-228 and thus completed the MCDBA requirements).

| Update: I got the MCDBA welcome kit today, sans wallet card (which will be mailed separately).

| Update Also: My Welcome Kit just arrived today. The wallet card is being mailed separately.
I guess I should have held out 1 more day before posting. |
