| I'm a Vietnamese student !
I have some trouble, please help me !
I installed an peer-to-peer network, using Windows 98 as the os. I used NetBEUI as the communicating protocol.
The first time I loged on the computer, and browsing my network by double-click the Network-Neighborhood icon. I cound not see any computer. Then I used Find Computer to find a computer, and I found it.
I had to log off an on many time before I cound see others computer when using Network-Neighborhood to display them.
I didn't understand why ?
Did anyone meet the same problem ?
Please answer me !
(Sorry for my English vocabulary)
Good luck !

| this might work: right click on network neighbourhood for your computers and obtain the properties for NetBEUI, click the checkbox that sets NetBEUI as the default protocol and apply. | |

| I saw the same thing at work when trying to connect three computers in a peer to peer, when i went to find computers it found them and later put them in network neighborhood. My instructor said its a common bug in Win98. Once I used "Find computer", it put them in N Neighborhood and its been fine ever since. |
