| Question for some of the brains out there
Is it possible to have 2 DHCP servers
on 1 network ?
One a NT4.0 PDC and another running SBS 2000
which is also a domain controller but they are each in their own domain.
I have each one configured with different scopes.
Thanks | |

| if all you want is to give address, yeah, it sure will...
But if you are looking into more things, they can be problems... You said both NT4 and SBS2k are domain controller of their prespective domains... So, that means that the SBS2k has AD on it which require DNS, so if you register your workstation in DNS using DHCP, the WS that get the address from NT4 will not register into the DNS in SBS2K... then it really depends on what are you doing in your network, W2k may not authenticate based on the Kerbrose...
Good luck... |
