Hey guys mabye you can help.

When i login to wk2 pro on the administrator account i get a General protection fault error followed by a box that says "cannot create file wmiexe.exe,ive tried selective startup and checked win.ini but nothing works how do i get rid of this!!!

I did not find this file anywhere in my Win2k system... Did a quick check at Google, it appears to be a Win98 file. Did you upgrade yor win2k from 98?

No it was a clean install and its been running great for a while now. Now when i start it up it just has the GPF and thats it. does anyone know what this could be?

according to serveral google article, it is not used unless if you have a webcam...

I would try to search the registry to find the keyword and see where does it show up in reg.

and finaly what did you install apps or otherwise before the problem occurs.

use regedit and look at the following key, it shows programs which are run at startup

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Mic
rosoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
