Hi All,
Just wondering what course path people have choosen to obtain their MCSE. Mine are;

Core Exams

70-210 - completed
70-215 - completed
70-216 - completed
70-217 - next week, hopefully!

Elective Exams

70-219 - This month
70-228 - ???
70-224 - ???

The reason I ask is that if I exchange the 70-224 (Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server) with the 70-229 (Designing and Implementing Databases with Microsoft SQL Server™ 2000 Enterprise Edition), In addition to obtaining the MCSE qualification, I would also become a MCDBA.

My problem is I know for a fact that Exchange server 2000 is going to be deployed in the next 6 months for the network that I am to administer as of Monday. Should I take the path that provides dual qualifications and get work to pay for my Exchange 2000 certification, or should I get the Exhcange certification as part of my MCSE path?

Also, how hard are the 70-228 and 70-229 exams? At present I am pretty much completely new to SQL, and databases in general in fact. I don't start my new job until Monday, but I've tried mixing study with full time work before. 70 hour weeks become tiring very quickly! I also want to complete my MCSE in the next two months. Is this possible with no SQL experience?

Did you work with SQL? If so, than it's worth to take it.
