| I've used Transcender for my Certs so far and I will be working towards MCSE next. I would like some feedback on testing software. Microsoft recommends "Self Test" and "Measure UP" To be more specific, all 3 look pretty good but I was just wondering what everyone else uses because as you know just memorizing test questions is not the way to prepare for MCSE. So testing that causes you to think and learn as you go is what I'm looking for, the best one if possible. | |

| My advice is NOT to use practice exams that Microsoft recommends.
Beleive me, they would never recommend really good practice exams that have parctice questions very similar to the actual exam.
I suspect that the reason MS recommends Measureup and Self test exams is because these companies have some sort of arrangemets with MS and probably paying money to Misrosoft to be so-called "official exam provider"
To me the who "official MCSE practice exam provider" program is not valid because after Microsoft authorized 2 or 3 companies to be "official practice exam providers" this program has been closed to new applications.
To my knowledge these practice exams endorsed my Microsoft are not very helpful in passing the real MCSE exams. Sure, their questions test your knowledge and based on the official MCSE objectives, but this is where the similarities to the actual exam stops. | |

| Thanks! I'm not surprised by your response, I just wanted to be sure. Wasting money on worthless practice tests is not my idea of fun!
