| Welcome to the MCSE Boards  MCSE consists of 7 tests. You should not have to recertify every year. Especially if you go the W2K track and take the exams that are just now comming out. If you stay away from the old elective for NT4 ( some of which are still valid like SMS ) you should not have to recertify for a while. When you do have to recertify Microsoft (empire of the evil gates) will give you a year after the old exam is retired. Mass extinctions of MCSE's as we are seeing now are rare but they do happen. (asteroids strike the earth ever so often)
