| I'm Implementing terminal server in a lab environment..Was wondering from the client side how to copy files from the client machine to the terminal server...a similar functionality like PCANYWHERE. I'm able to copy notes form notepad from my system by ctrl insert but can't drop & drag or copy paste to or from client or term | |

| This may be a little out in left field, but are your client drives shared? Since you are in terminal mode, it is like you are sitting at that server running whatever application. When logged into the server normally, you have control of your drives, and can drag and drop to the server. In terminal mode, everything is being run through the server. I don't believe there is a direct link to the terminal client software from the local machine. To access files in order to be able to drag and drop, you would have to access your drive through the terminal client software. Kind of the long way around, and I don't know that it will work, but its something to try. Let me know what you find out. |
