With Wins I understand how it works with it push/pull relationship with other WINS servers. The only question is what is it pushing and pulling?

Push: Push partner pushes changes out to partner.
Pull: Pull partner pulls changes from partner.

Push is usually done based on x number of changes occurring.

Pull is usually done based on a time schedule.

I guess what I really meant my my last question is what is it pushing or pulling?

Pushing or pulling new records in the WINS database. Any time a user logs on, it registers its netbios name with WINS. To allow users in other subnets to access remote hosts by netbios name, the remote hosts wins entry must be replicated to a wins server in use by the host performing the query.
