Here is the deal: I have 13 Win2K servers in my classroom, 6 of which have developed this interesting case of the unreadable
In other words, the fonts displayed on the screen are all weird and incomplete looking, with colors not aligned together properly... anybody has seen that before? Any known fixes out there? Thanks guys...

If not hardware, then must be software, if not the OS, then must be display driver, if not then it will be the middleware!!

I agree with mir92. Depending on how old the monitors are, try degaussing them. I remember when I was on a ship in the navy and a guy used to come by every so often with a degaussing ring. He'd wave it over the TV or monitor and presto! Better images.

hmmm. thanks for the suggestions, but none worked
Interesting thing, though: if I back off on the refresh rate and the amount of colors available, it happens less often. The driver is the one that win2k gives the card. Other interesting factor: it is not consistent. Rebooting the box will make it go away for a random amount of time, then it will pop up again. On some machines, bringing up task manager will accelerate the process. On some, it has no impact. A virus is a possibility, but then ALL machines on the network would get it, yet a bunch still show no signs of issues... this is a puxxling one.
