I'm just starting the MCSE tests, and I have just passed A+. What's a good book for a beginner?

I would for now, stick with the recommended ones from Microsoft, their MS Press books or the MOCs, in my current experience, the MS pres books do a good job of covering what the exams are looking for, but dont expect them to be like the A+, much harder and ALL are problem solving, no question answer types.

I highly recommend this new set from MS press.

It includes 120 days version of Windows 2000 advanced server, and Windows 2000 professional!

This is the best way to get hands-on experience with the Windows 2000 server without buying the actual full version W2K server. This training kit also includes hands-on labs and other great stuff on 4 CDs

All for $139.00 is a great bargain! Microsoft sells this set on its website for $199.00. Click on the link to buy it for only $139.00 from Amazon.com
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0735611300/

This set just came out this month and I've just ordered one for myself today.

I have MCSE Training Kit: Microsoft Windows 2000 Core Requirements on order.
I have seen a lot of interest in another book, Windows 2000 MCSE Study System by Alan R. Carter, to be released next month. I used and liked his Windows NT 4.0 MCSE Study Guide and would like to know more about this new book.

I received notice today that MCSE Training Kit: Microsoft Windows 2000 Core Requirements has been recalled by the publisher, there are errors on the CD. Not sure when my copy is going to arrive.
