MCP+I track question?
|
|
|
| dear All,
a friend of mine is an MCP+I. he's wondering if there's going to be an equivalent of MCP+I for Windows2000 track?
in other words, if he doesn't take any exams to replace the soon-to-be-retired NT4 track, is he going to lose his MCP+I all together?
on behalf on my friend, thanks for your help..

| I believe the +I designation will no longer exist in the 2000 track, it is integrated into the various new exams. | |

| Weblord,
Your friend will loose the +I and may have to replace some courses that are retiring with new ones. IIS 4.0 & TCP/IP are retiring.
I just became an MCSE today & will have to take the 70-240 exam upgrade exam and 1 Win2K core subject before Dec. 31, 2001 to maintain my MCSE. The 70-240 exam hasn't been released yet, but should be free. The alternative is to start over on the Win2K track when it comes out.
There is a ton of info at http://www.microsoft.com/train_cert/
