EXAM NEWS
--------------------------------------------------------------------
* ADDITIONAL TWO MONTHS OF AVAILABILITY FOR EXAMS SCHEDULED FOR RETIREMENT ON DECEMBER 31
Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 exams and other exams scheduled for retirement on December 31, 2000, will continue to be offered to candidates worldwide through February 28, 2001. The additional two months of availability will accommodate candidates who are experiencing difficulty scheduling testing times because of limited capacity at testing centers.
For more information about the new Windows NT 4.0 exam and the extended availability of retiring exams, please see the MCP Web site. http://news.microsoft.co.uk/mcp12007828

| Yep, saw the same thing this morning in my MCP Flash...but when I checked out the link, there was nothing there about the extension. I'll still take their word for it, though...someone here at work asked this morning "I wonder if they'll extend the NT 4.0 MCSE out to the end of Feb 2002?". I'm not holding much hope out for that...

| ...and wouldncha know...I just got back out to www.microsoft.com/trainingandcertification and boom, there it was. Answered my question about extending the NT 4.0 certification (NO), but in addition to announcing the extension, also introduces a new exam that can be used for an elective. Deserves a serious perusing.
