| Yo niceguy,
If I was you I'd go for MCP as Novell will die/be bought out in the next few years. That is unless most of your work is with Novell product sets then I'd do both to hedge my bets.
This is coming from an MCNE guy, i.e. ME

| It depends on what is utilized and open in your area. If there are a lot of job postings for Novell skills it is a no-brainer, but if Novell postings are little to none go with the rest of the industry and get the MCP.
Good Luck:-) | |

| Yeti...!
Why you think Netware is going to die or be bought by another Company? I want to get my CNE after MCSE NT 4.0. I have more job experience with Netware than NT. My Company uses Netware and we are migrating the servers to Netware 5.1

| Itztli !!
Look at my Certifications I'm an MCNE and have been for nearly 10 years, however in reality MS has done a far better marketing job and brainwashed most if not all the cooperates and home users that MS is best (yeah right, now where's that lump hammer)!!!
The current trend (and has been for about 3 years now) is that Novell is on a downward spin in the sales arena, thus one may conclude that either they will disappear or be bought out.
That's why I made the previous statement.
CNE or MCNE is not worth what it used to be, yes there will be companies out there who will retain Novell's OS's but I feel that most will feel pressured to accept the BILL GATES MARKETING MACHINE i.e. Windows (Ack phooo).
Bring back CPM or LocoScript from AMSTRAD I say
