I am writing this exam tomorrow!!!

I thought it was scheduled for next week, but when I looked at the confirmation form last night it said my exam was November 15th, which is tomorrow!

I hope I'm ready - I thought I still had another week to prepare.

Wish me luck guys - I'm going to need it!!!!

I've done that Twice now (forgoten the exam day not the test ) and I've passed both times I think being under prepared helps you with all of the questions by being more carefull with each answer..

Good Luck, but remember you cant change what is beyond your controll.

Congrats Paisleyskye!

I have this one coming up in a week for +I and was just curious as to what was the best study source you all have found? I have been over CramSession and was curious as to if the Transcender is still up to date with this test. Any helpful hints would be great seeing that there is a general lack of information around concerning this test.

Thanks again,
Jay

I used the Exam Cram book, the cramsession, and the study guide from this site (which is excellent).

The best advice I can give you is to take your time. Also, read the whole question before you open the exhibit. The exhibits seem to be there for no other reason than to confuse you.

Also - know all about Outlook Express and subnet masks, DNS, gateways etc. I had at least 6 questions that were regarding this and that were worded almost the same.

dont you hate it when you get lots of questions that are all the same you wonder if you got it wrong last time...

I also hate the exibits as they usualy don't shed any more light on the question at hand, I find the exibit looks exactly as I expect it to anyhow.

It's the first time I've ever started to wonder if the Microsoft exams are all adaptive to an extent. Although the exam never stops immediately after you pass, when you get the same question re-worded 6 times it does make you wonder if you answered it wrong the first time and they are trying to trip you up and make you fail. It's like the exams are intelligent.

I belive they are to.

those questions before the exam about your experiance and enviroment cut the list of questions you will see.

If you say you use Unix you will see less Unix interaction questions!!! belive me I did this after reading it someware else. If you think about it you will remember a pause when the question list is generated after you answer the quiz at the start of the exam.

so long as I dont get asked to call the testing station "HAL" I think the questions are still kind of dumb but adaptive.

Also - did you know that although you don't have to do the questionaire at the beginning, if you don't you won't receive your certifications. Microsoft wants to be sure everyone answers those stupid questions.

I knew you could do it.
Well after you take a deep breath
take 1 or 2 days off from studying what Certification are you planning to tackle next?

Ps: I have never completed the questionaire
and I received my MCSE certification, of course this was a year and a half ago.

Thanks for the reply...it is highly appreciated! Judging by that, I think I am ready to take this beast on. I will run over everything again to make sure. I haven't purchased a Transcender for any previous test, so thanks for convincing me to save my $ again I might even move the test up while everything is still fresh

Thanks again!

me to, but some how lacking the focus the deadline deserves

240
definately deserves much respect.
It got the best of me, I had to take the tests individually.
I`ve got one left "server", to update my mcsebut I have put it on the back burner for a month wile I pursue the CCDA/CCDP.

I'm giving it lots of respect mainly from fear, I haven't failed any Microsoft exams... yet and I have done 70-244 with the flue and no studdy for the last week
I've already done 2K server and found that easy the only part im really dreding is the AD part, Pitty a culmitive score wont cut it for this one..

240 was a first time fail for many an mcse.
But as we know a fail is not the end of the world, just a heads up to try harder.

what dosnt kill us makes us stronger...
but some days you have to wonder how much stronger...

I was told the lights all dim so every one elce in the testing center can also be blinded by the big red bar of failure, just like a X-file or something
