It's funny - I had a hard time studying for Enterprise, yet I passed it the first time. I have felt pretty comfortable with Proxy, yet I am just about to sit it for the fourth time.

Go figure??

you're going to sit through Proxy for the 4th time? what are you doing over there? how are you studying for this? Bear's dump comes damn close and i found a dump with questions for the actual test and Bear's is almost right on the money. Don't waste your time reading thick books. do that after you pass the test. get the dumps and practice tests and get familiar on how the test is going to be.

where is bears dump ?

2000-12-19, 3:02 pm

No offense but if you don't know how the test is going to be by now I would give up. from your few post i would look over some basic tcp/ip, security, a few things on IIS, exchange. look over the dumps like Munruss says. Man it has to be frustrating, are you at least getting higher scores each time?

Doing transcenders at least?. email me at seeker@examnotes.net maybe i can help with some study stuff.

i think you're the only person i saw that took any test 4 times. i failed TCP/IP once because i was so damn nervous. i went back 4 days later and got an 833.

how are you studying for proxy?

2000-12-19, 7:31 pm

Can I say took Proxy yesterday passed with 823 to complete my MCSE IT IS the easiest exam you will take in the NT4 track that is the truth used sybex, E.E. TRANS, studied for only two weeks.
I was at the exam centre by a previous candidate that that is why I chose it
if your failing your not working hard enough

Yah...another one wondering where Bears dump ran off to...

anyone? anyone?

its not at XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX anymore

2000-12-20, 1:07 am

It was removed for copywrite vilation. email me at seeker@examnotes.net and I will forward it. Evidently it was transcender that the guy put in, some questions I was told word for word..

Yes, I have taken Proxy 3 times. However, I took it the first and second time 6 months ago, after I took 5 months off after the 1st exam (Server). I got so frustrated, I started over; ie: Workstation, Enterprise, Net Ess, then IIS. I am now doing Proxy, and because of the xmas deadline, the only opening for the Proxy exam I could take was only 2 weeks after I sat the IIS exam.

Long story short: I took the Proxy exam the first time out of order. Should have done IIS first. Also, I should have taken more time to study between IIS and Proxy.

Now, for you who says I'm not working hard enough....thanks.

I am now sitting it on Dec 29th. I'll let you all know.

By the way, Bear's dump can be found on my web site at www.proactiveit.net

rcwm.

You now have till February 28th to become an MCSE. If you don't feel ready, take advantage of this. Better than gambling another $100.

With all due respect, if you studied only 2 weeks and it was the easiest exam of the NT4 track, how come you only scored 823?

I studied for 3 weeks (1 week to play with the product hands on + 2 for book study) and thought it was the hardest exam scoring 897 (which was my lowest score out of all of the fixed length exams I took).

People may agree with you and think its the easiest, they may not. Likewise with my opinion, but please don't take pot-shots at people like that, it is not what this forum is intended for.

With Best Intentions.
