| I am studying Transcender at the moment, and it seems when ever I get a DNS question, the 'A' Resource Record comes up.
Can someone give me the definition of the 'A' Resource Record?

| A DNS "A" record stands for address record.
This record type fulfills the main purpose of DNS: it provides a name-to-address mapping. Each A record maps a domain name, like terminator.movie.edu, to an IP address, like 192.249.249.3.
When you create a new zone, DNS Manager creates an address record for the primary name server. It uses the host name configured in the primary master's DNS configuration.

On Topic: You did Proxy as one of your electives? I am still trying to work out this whole subnet issue. It's very TCP/IP isn't it?
Any tips of subnet, or references?

Ya, Proxy and TCP/IP were my electives.
Subnetting is just borrowing bits and working with powers of 2 and working with the 2^n - 2 formula for number of networks and number of hosts per network. Once the light goes on, you'll wonder why it took you so long to get the hang of it.

It's a real nice study aid and it will turn you into a subnetting guru in no time 
90 degrees!! - man, must be nice with all those beautiful Aussie ladies running around in skimpy clothing.
