Hi,

I have a problem with OWA, I don't seem to be having much luck finding an answer on the MS Knowledge base (or anywhere on the Internet!).

The problem:

Ayone external to the company LAN can access OWA fine, but when I try to access it at work, a page loads in saying I don't have the right version of Internet Explorer. I have version 6 and I have tried it on other machines to no avail. Is this problem related to the IIS on the server?

The server setup is NT4 sp6, Exchange 5.5 sp4.

Thanks for any help.

Check if your browser is configured to use a proxy server: this may cause a problem. Not all proxy servers allow normal OWA.
You may also want to check this Q267570:

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the responses. I found out what the problem was eventually. On our Proxy server there is an option for setting the web browsers privacy (this restricts the information that can be seen by internet web servers about our computers). It was set to a level which seemed to be restricting content that could be seen in a browser.

After changing it from it's default level, everything was fine.

Thanks again!
