I Passed!!! Only one exam left to go!!!
|
|
|
| Hey guys,
I passed Exchange today. I only got 760, but a pass is a pass, and I really don't care about the score, heck - I PASSED!!! Thats what really matters.
I can tell you now that the courses on www.leapit.com are a valuable resource. I don't think I would have passed if it hadn't been for that.
I only have one more exam to go before I am an MCSE!!
I am trying to decide between IEAK5 and Proxy 2.0. Does anybody have any insight as to which one I should take?
------------------
Sincerely,
Paisleyskye
Best wishes and peace to all!!!

| Congrt Paisleyskye, I passed mind two weeks ago and i am mcse. Who cares about the score, pass is a pass. I am now heading the cisco camp.....or may be not, as u can see i have not decided what is next for me. My second option i took tcp/ip so i don't actually know which one (IEAK5 and Proxy 2.0)is better or at least is easier, but if wat ppl r saying in here and other forums has anything to go by Proxy 2.0 is the way to go.
Good luck watever u do, just let us know how it goes, and we will be more than happy to wlc you to the MCSE world.

| Duh. Didn't read your note all the way through. I've never even looked at IEAK5 but I did Proxy. I did Exchange and Proxy for my electives because they weren't expiring. Proxy was a bear for me, mainly because I couldn't play with it. I managed to pass it with an 823, and the thing that helped me the most was the Exam Prep. Good luck! | |
|
| congrats on the pass, i hope i am as lucky as you are. i sit the exam Fri. Once again, congrats! | |
|
| Hey Paisleyskye I tried out that leapit.com
place and they had a Question like what was the minimum amount of ram needed to install Exchange and they said the awnser was 24MB
that is wrong it's 16MB. I think that place
needs some help specially if they get a
? like that screwed up. Alot of the questions on there are a waste of time for people who want to have questions closer to what is on the test. I give it thumbs down.

| Iwantmcse:
I think you may need to take another look at your books.
16MB is the required amount of RAM, however 24MB is the recommended amount of RAM. Without 24MB of RAM you still have functionality, but you loose performance.
The question you are referring to was:
What is the recommended amount of RAM required to run Exchange Server 5.5 optimally?
And, the answer is indeed 24MB. | |
|
| Well I may have mistaken the ?I am right about the minimum amount and you are
right about the recommended amount. I know
you lose performance more Ram is always better. But the site does have a bunch of crappy questions that are not on the test.
