| I was nearly passed ....But zero mark at SIMM.
Any tricks about SIMM ??
I have always click 'Apply' then 'OK'.
I guess one of the reason is that I am not start the service after configure a WWW site.
But I really suspect if it is the reason that I get zero mark ...
How can I close SIMM at the examination, may I just click the Box 'x' at the right hand corner of outer window ?? Should I have to choose 'Save' at the MMC console ??
Is the SIMM base on the key-stroke or the database to determine my configuration...May I go around at the SIMM although it is not related to the examination ??? May I click the 'Apply' button again at the 'Home directory', although I have already key in the home directory during create new Web site ?
During I review the questions (I am not go into simm questions as I know if I do so, I have to re-answer them), I get a message prompt something like 'The pgm is in use'. I guess my SIMM database are corrupted. Anyone see it before ??? I have try to contact examintion centre, prometrics, microsoft to check my examination result... But No response ....They all say that they are the one that can help me ......How can I check the examination result ???? I really suspect there is some bug at the SIMM...Where can I complain ???
Anyway, I will take my examination on 28Dec... May one may tell me all tricks about SIMM..
Thanks

| When I took my exam, I had a lot of problems with the SIMS. I always started the site before I exited, and I exited by clicking on Console>Close. I think if you click on windows too many times in the sims, you automatically get the question wrong, so I tried to directly click the right answer for the tests, and then start the service and close the window. I am very wary of the SIM questions because some questions don't tell you everything you should know, such as they tell you to make a site, but give you no name to give that site. Anyway, don't feel bad because I believe I had around six or seven sims out of 55 questions, and I ended up getting a 890! So, just try your best, and you should do great next time! Good luck.

| the trick is
1)always start your ftp or web sites after creating them
2)NEVER close the MMC from the X,always use console/exit..
3)make sure always type in the IP addresses given ,do not use drop down.
4)answer all your questions first,go back to your sims afterwards then you will have plenty of time.
5)never use passwords unless,it tells you so..when password needed and no password mentioned just leave it blank.
i hope you will pass the exam and post the good news in this site..
GOOD LUCK...
