| Why is this exam so popular on the NT4 track ?
Is it being retired - if so you will have to do ANOTHER elective and the 240 and design exam.
Surely it makes more sense to do a non-retiring elective ?

| I've told you before, each persons electives pertain to what they want to do with their MCSE, and nobody should be encouraged to take one elective over another soley on the basis of retirement.

| Another reason might be because of the Management Console.
With Win 2000 everything works through the Management Console, and if you've had your had to it before it'll be much easier for you to pass the 2000 exams.

| If you're already an MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), with this elective (IIS4) you meet the requirements for MCP+I(Internet). So if you are going for your MCSE why not take IIS4 so you can add another certification to your resume. | |
|
| it gives you an extra certificate and a big +I next to your mcp...and definitely to do with iis 5 which you will also see with win2000... | |
|
| I can say this exam is so popular is that it's content transfers over for other test. As was said it helped me with passing exchange, and I am now doing proxy and you can see similar things like the console for one, and yes the +I is a good plus. I would recomend this exam to everyone. Plus with iis 5 the content is similar. Good luck to all taking this exam, This is well worth the effort!
