Author another confusing scenario, help please.

2000-11-26, 6:17 pm

here is the question as presented by DS Tech Simulation Program:
Change the anonymous user the system uses to be ANONYMOUS.

I changed the username to anonymous, checked "allow anonymous connections" and that was correct according to the program.
Then I checked "allow only anonymous connections" as well and that answer was graded as right also.

Please, what is the correct answer to this scenario?

you answered your own question really, all that allow only means is that you can not send any username and password other then the ANONYMOUS. you will notice on some of the ds-tech sim that it is a little tricky about what it wants..by having bioth checked you are allowing anonymous access but also only anonymous. with have just anonymous checked you also allow a username and pass other then anonymous. hope that helps..

Thank you, Seeker. What i again have learned is "read the question and then read it again." Since the question did not specify "allow only anon connections", i would be safe NOT checking it. I know, I know, read and re-read. These devils are tricky! Thanks for all of your help. Am taking test on Wednesday.

Take your time and really read the question. Sometimes you can read the answers and know which to eliminate..good luck on wednsday and remember in the mmc to click on start after any modifications..good luck
