| I just took IIS a second time and FAILED. My downfall is in Integration and Interoperability 16%. I must be doing something wrong with the simulations. Any suggestions???? | |
|
| Have you actually use the IIS4?

| No, nothing outside of going throught the Microsoft book and doing the exercises. I do have IIS installed on a couple of PCs at home and here at work. I have also been using the Transcender Tests and getting 850 or higher on the practice tests. | |
|
| Go to www.transcender.com and download the free demo file. You get the actual MMC so you can go in and practice. It has questions for WWW and FTP. If I didn't have this, I probably wouldn't have passed. Good luck. | |

| I have heard that you are limited to a specific number of clicks in order to keep people from just browsing until you get the correct response.
My friend suggested to hack if you need to and then write down the steps, Then mark the question for review and then make the right clicks for the "final answer". I haven't taken IIS yet but that was a suggestion that he gave. He failed it the first time and then used this technique the second time and passed with a MUCH better score. Hope it helps! Good Luck! | |

| What do you mean by a "hack?" Thanks for your help, I'm searching for anyhing that may help.

| By "hack" I mean to click around until you get the proper sequence of clicks to "finish" the task assigned.
That's what I was told.
I hope it helps.
Good luck!! | |

| Thanks, it makes sense by marking the question and going onto the next question then returning that the answer will not be recorded while your finding the finished answer.

| Hydroking, take your time with this test. it can be tricky. but you have time on your side. use sriskeeper dump. it looke dpretty good. odbc errors can be trick remember this:
1. Logon Failure - its insufficient permissions
2. General Network Error - Database moved
3. Driver Error - Source name configured incorrect
4. Unable to find resources - ODBC driver missing
I tested this theory and it seemed to pan out.
with sims, double check that the site is started..
Good luck |
