Can anyone help with a good practise test site or link for help on studying for IIS?
Is the Transcender test a good practise exam to get ready for IIS?
Will you be able to pass the exam just by studying Transcender?

Well, lets see...... there is

Exam Essentials at www.certify.com you can download demos and then it cost around $60 US to open whole practice test. Not sure about the simulations I haven't gone through whole practice test yet. I have used these exams for Enterprise, Server, Work Station, TCP/IP, Proxy Server and found them to be very accurate.

Petri at www.petri.co.il , all he asks for is a $5 US donation, no simulations, just questions. He lists the steps to go through on a simulation then you choose the correct procedure. I used his test for TCP/IP and it was very, very close to actual test. Can't beat the price. Yep, I sent him the money!

EasyCert at http://jrksoftware.com ,it has simulations and the look and feel of the actual exam, even has the calculator button in the upper right hand corner. You can download a demo, also. It is around $60 US to open up entire exam.

Of course there is the "Cadillac" of practice exams, Transcenders, www.trancender.com . They have very good simulations and excellent explanations, but they cost $179 US. (Oops, just checked on the price and it is now $99 US, guess they put them on sell before the exam is retired) Good way to go if your company is paying for it.

Let's not forget our webmaster at www.cert21.com . I have looked at the demo's but have not used any for my exams.

For additional study I highly recommend the Troy Tech study guides www.troytec.com . These are about 50 pages each with between 200 to 300 sample questions to study. They only give you the question and the answer, not the choices or the explanations. Also, they describe the likely simulations you might encounter and present you a likely strategy to take. I have used these for all my MCSE exams and wouldn't take another exam without them. They come in hard copy only so please don't e-mail me and ask me to send you one. They are $29 US. You can get a discount if you buy the whole MCSE package, like I did. Check them out.

Since I have not taken this exam yet, I would like to hear from others on what they think about these different products.

Aim High!
