Hello,
I like to find out more about CNE. I know it is a Novell certified engineer certification. Does it need to be recertified every year? How many exams involved in this CNE? What is the ouline of this CNE course?
What is the difference between CNE and Cisco CCNA?
Thanks

CNE is for the Netware NOS, CCNA is for Cisco Switches. It does not need to be recertified every year.

Go to this link for more about CNE, and click on "certification programs".

Right now you can choose from Netware 6 or 5, but I'd recommend 6, so you don't have to rush the upgrade to 6 in a few months.

You have to be CNA certified first, then there are 5 more tests for CNE certification.

But CCNA still needs to be recertifed every three years.

CNE has to be recertified after new version of NOS is released, roughly every 3-4 years.
