Hi everyone,

I need some help with the Client for XP, 2000. Loaded it on a Win2K Pro machine, now I log in to NetWare, log into the machine, and it promptly comes back to the login splash screen. Never seen this one before! I even tried just logging into the workstation, same deal.
I know I need to remove the client, but can't get to My Network Places to do it! Tried booting into safe mode, no go, and tried safe mode with networking and it hangs up.

Any suggestions??

----EDIT----

I got it! Did a regedit and deleted three keys and changed one. God I love Novell's knowledgebase!

How about letting the rest of us in on your discovery. And did you get the client to work?

Just wondering, did you get a desktop after the first login attempt and then another login popup? I assume not. Also is ZenWorks on your network?

Nope, didn't get a desktop at all, just the login screen. Also, no ZenWorks on the network.
I believe the problem was with an existing security policy in Win2K. I have not tried to load the Novell Client back on the machine.

Did you install the latest version of the client?
