Hi people,

I've got a Netware 5.1 server to look after, unfortunately I don't know much about Novell products and Amazon have taken over 5 weeks to get my Novell book to me so I haven't got anything to refer to either.

The server is losing time - ie. the clock is slow, this only seemed to happen after the changeover to British Summer Time, but the time difference is not an hour so this in itself is not the problem.

If this was on an old workstation I'd put it down to a dying CMOS battery but this is a one year old Compaq server so I be amazed if it had anything to do with this!

Firstly, how do I correct the time, and are there any issues I should be aware of in doing this?

Secondly, are there are known Novell issues or problems that could be making the server behave like this that any of you have come across or heard of?

Ok 1st off never buy from Amazon...there a rip off here try these (and no I dont have shares in them...wish I did though) http://www.megabytebooks.com/

Next you may be better off having a search on Novells site for posssible fixes, other than that enlist the help of SasiSan or one of the regular posters in here.

Sorry I'm not much help but at least I have given you a CHEAPER source for Books now
