I am going for my CNA soon,But i am Admin for a school and we are running NW5.1 and the admin before set a policy so kids can't get the IE icon or get it in Nal,If i am in Pol edit do you think it has to do with the Destop display or another area. I did alot of fooling around with in Admin32 with trustee's etc,But also the day before the H: drives(Home Directory) disappeared and came back which was very werid,But i also recall that some kids might of had IE icons.I am sorta lost and NW has been acting werid.I am still in HS and this is my Co-op job.

Your question wording makes it difficult to understand what is exactly occurring, so sorry if my answer doesn't come close. It seems user are missing some icons(?) Are you running some workstation policies (ZENworks) on the network in which a default Start Menu or Desktop folder is being downloaded for everyone. I'm not a Zenworks guru at all, but look in NWAdmin for a workstation policy and look through the properties to see if you can find anything.

Hey,
Sorry about that.I really should have put more detail into this.
Yes,There is Zenworks policies setup on the users. The thing is that the server has been acting up and before i lost the H: Drives and it started acting funny i could share applications fine without any problems.(they would show up in NAL)I think i am going to use Pol edit and look at the policies.I didn't not set the policies up and stuff.I am left with junk documentation that the old admin left which has no details on what he did. Thank you for the help.

There is most likely a Zenworks policy set up (either user or workstation, depending on the version of Zen) that is blocking this option to see IE. It could also be an AOT or App object that someone has created to eliminate the registry entries for IE so that it does not show up when the kiddies log in to the workstation. Take a look at these first.
