| Recently passed the above exams to qualify as MCNE.
Check out EE5, the questions are spot on, plus the manual quite straight forward and simple.
Preparation for the exams may take 14 to 30 days. Pass mark Is 710 with 55 questions and 90 minutes.
Jason thanks for the white book.
Best Of luck | |

| Hi
I am interested in BM test. What book(s) did you use other than the white book?
Is the white book a must?
How good is exam essentials?
There is a BMEE3.6 server in our company and I installed and configured it. Now, I want to sit for the exam. | |

| I took the exam about 1 year ago, and I don't think it has changed significantly in that time. I attended the class and had the whitebook to study. I also had quite a bit of experience administering most of the BorderManager components (NAT, proxy, filters, access rules, NIAS, VPN, etc.).
As I recall, this was a very balanced exam, hitting on most of the major BorderManager components. You should definitely have a strong background in TCP/IP going into this exam.
I found the class and whitebook extremely helpful, since there really isn't much else out there as far as literature on BorderManager. I think I also looked over Craig Johnson's book on Filters. I'll provide the link below in case you are interested.
Good luck!

| Hey meyerc13,
Does the student kit for the class include a CD with PDF files of the book itself? The last couple of classes I took had included them.
Thanks! |
