| I'm taking 50-653, CNA/5.1 in the morning. If anyone has taken this test, any tips would be greatly appreciated. | |

| You do know that this morning for you is last night for me. So by the time you read this you should be in bed dreaming how well you did in the exam.
Get your syntax right for mapping commands and other login commands
Understand the possible sequences for login script and their dependencies on one another
What different NDS rights actually mean. Understand file rights
Get into ZEN, or get into trouble.
Know NDPS well
Please dont make me time travel again!

| Thank you Cybateck, you were right on in your advice.
I did the exam this morning and passed with a 711. Lots on NDPS and login scripts for sure. I also got grilled pretty good on ZEN. I used the IDG book on CNA 5, Exam Cram and EE55 and I have a test server set up in my office that I practiced on. EE was right on on the types of questions I encountered on the actual exam. Mine was a form test, 61 questions. It took me about 45 minutes to do the exam. No real surprises.
It feels good to have the CNA 5.1 behind me now. Onward to Advanced. |
