24 hour screen saver

| can someone please tell me how to disable an automatic screensaver (a red dot crawling across the desktop with a tail, like pointer tail)
i have novell 3.10 and the stupid things comes on if i dont touch werver for 24 hrs or more, to get back in, i have to reboot the server.

| No one here knows how to get rid of the screensaver // auto lockup...??

| I don't know why it's locking up, but on 3.x you should be able to disable it by unloading the Console Monitor - that is where it comes from. | |

The screen saver is built into some modules, primarly MONITOR.NLM
Load montior in autoexec.ncf file with the following switch.
LOAD MONITOR /NS
/NS = no screen saver | |
