| I just completed my iw 4.11 cne certification and need to update it. Which test is easier the 4.11 to 5 update test or the 5 advanced administration test.

| Having completed the 640 in August 2000 as part of the CCR all I used was an evaluation copy of NW 5.1 and played with it for 2 weeks, I pulled on my NW 3.x & 4.1x knowledge having passed the CNA & CNE for each as well. At that time the test was none adaptive and was straight forward. I cannot recall any more than that, basically if you scored highly or know 4.1x well you should ace it with at least 2 weeks playing with the software.
Watch out for the differences between 4.1x & 5.x, i.e. the web stuff and some of the small changes to the way the OS operates/configures. I know nothing of the 652 exam so I cannot comment on that one, sorry.
You should be ok otherwise.
