If you are running a Novell network you can use windows 95 file and print sharing to print to that printer from the other computer. That's what I use for sharing printers on win95 or NT machines. Just make the printer shared, make sure you have file and print sharing enabled on all computers involved in using the printer and add the printer as a networked printer. After that just make sure that the computer with the printer physically connected to it is always on, if you want to print to it. It doesn't need to be logged in, just turned on. Hope this helps.

Unless u have the printer connected to the server... forgot about that....I wouldn't do it... still find some way to use windows print sharing...

1. With regard to the HP1100 question: I don't think IP works if you have the printer attached to the workstation and you are running NPRINT. It will work if the printer is attached to an HP JetDirect, you have the JetDirect running TCP/IP, and you are using the HPGateway with IP on it.
But, it should also print fine if you utilize IPX with NPRINTER and NDPS.
Try switching to IPX in the NDPS Manager. Then reload the NDPS Manager on the server console.

2. I believe your HP4 question refers to TCP/IP printing. You first need to assign the printer a static IP using HP JetAdmin. The you go to the workstation and add a standard TCP/IP port:
To add a standard TCP/IP port:

Open Printers.
Double-click Add Printer, and then click Next.
Click Local printer, clear the Automatically detect my printer check box, and then click Next.
Click Create a new port, and then click Standard TCP/IP Port.
Click Next to run the Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port wizard.
Follow the instructions on the screen to finish installing the TCP/IP printer.

Hope this helps..
