| I was just wondering if anyone can tell me if you can still get a CNE in Netware 3.12. I use 3 and 4 at work but, no 5. I want to take the CNE 3.12 track get it in 3, then take the update to 4.11 and finally take the 5 update. The reason i'm interested in doing it this way is because I know I'll pass the 3.12 or the 4.11 track but, I'm not to keen on Netware 5. In the end I want to end up a CNE in 3.12, 4.11, and 5. Is this possible??? | |

Check with Novell homepage. I don't think they still offer NW 3 and 4 exams.

I posted a similar question in the Novell Education Forum a few days ago. I completed all the tests for the Inranetware 4.11 CNE and then took the update to Netware 5.1 CNE recently. I was not awarded the 4.11 CNE - only the 5.1 as far as I can tell. I'll let you know what happens when I receive my certificate.

| If you have completed all required tests for the 4.11 CNE, you will be awarded CNE 4.11 status/certificate. Plus, if you take the update to 5.x, the you will be awarded CNE 5.x status/certificate. I'm a 4.x CNE, took the update test (October 99) and now a 5.x CNE as well. Unless Novell has changed, you will receive a 4.x CNA & CNE certificate, and the same for 5.x.
