I want to install nw410 in my old pc--only have 500mb and no cd.
I install dos into c:, and made another partition d: for novell.
I transfer the nw410 from my new pc to old pc by laplink, copy the nw410 to d:, install it completed.
But--after I restart the pc, I can't find the d driver!!! I was deleted the partition when I install nw410--I think it will for the novell, so I don't need the dos partition which was in d driver.
Also, when I install the nw410, I didn't meet the message which ask you to creat netware partition, and I didn't meet the chooce which ask you creat the volums.
I knew I made the mistake, but I don't know where and how I did it.
Would someone can tell me about this case?
Thank you very much!

It's been a long while since i haven't installed Novell. Last time was when i was in college. Anyways, You shouldn't had created a D:, just create a C: of about 30 megs for dos. Don't partition the rest of the disk. Netware will create volumes with the unused space. Maybe that's because you didn't had any unused space that novell haven't prompted you for partitioning. And btw, DOS won't be able to read Novell partitions since those are Volumes. It's like when you install Linux or Winnt (using NTFS). Dos 6.22 can't read those.

Well then hope it helps and if i'm wrong somewhere and that somebody notice it please correct me. It's been a LONG time .
