Has anybody takin this exam lately?
Is it difficult? or easy?

I haven't finished studying yet but it all seems pretty common knowledge stuff if you ask me.

Any opinions out there?

I'm replying to my own message just to let everyone know that I'm still interested in getting an answer to this.

Thanx

When I took it, it seemed easy to me. It's a lot of common knowledge troubleshooting techniques... I used CNEQUIZR (now known as EXAM ESSENTIALS) at certify.com and Self Test Software at stsware.com.

Most of the questions were word for word.

Thanx a lot for your response

I would like to say....20 exams in one year!!!! That is some serious dedication. I plan on getting my CNE in the next year, and I have 4 more exams to go. And I thought that was doing good.

I used that Quizzer from Certify.com...well the free version anyway and got all them right and that was even before picking up a single book. Thats why I was kind of wondering to the difficulty of that exam. I guess it can't be too hard then.

Thanx once again

I don't plan on writing for a least a couple weeks. Kind of nervous about the NDPS and Queue based printing questions. Don't know why but I have a tough time with that. So I want to make sure I know it cold before I go into that exam.

So I guess let me know how your exam turns out. If you could give me an idea of the types of questions it asked it would be very much appreciated.

Thanx

Danno,
S&S test you should be able to rule out a lot of obviously wrong answers... um, I used Sybex also, and that seemed to ouline the NDPS printer issues fairly well. I know there's a Exam Cram out there, but never had a chance to use it for this test.

Its not that hard...testing that is. The info kinda builds up after a while and you find that many of your previous tests help you with the next. Then you can take tests faster, get certified faster and spend more time concentrating on the hands on/real world stuff. Which essentially allows you to cut down on your study time. at least, that's my philosophy.
The toughest part is finding the $$ for testing and/or authorized training programs.

I bumped up the test and passed it today wooooooooooohoooooooooo my last test for the CNE. This test was not hard at all. I used exam essentials (formerly cnequizr) to study and all of the questions on the test seemed almost idential to the questions on exam essentials. I wouldn't worry too much about printing it was not the major portion of test. They did however ask questions on both que based and ndps printing. Good Luck!
