| Anyone know the number of questions and the passing score for the NetWare 5.1 Administration 050-653 test and how it differs from the NetWare 5 Administration 050-645 test or the 050-639 test

653 is a paper base test with 67Q and passing is 638.
639 will be retried soon, don't take it
645 is adaptive, 15-25Q

U know paper based exam like u took those in school. Answer all the questions.
Of course that the exam is online testing.
U can pick 645 or 653, it up to u. But if u like the chanllenge, "A" exam is very good = Short and Quick.

What Kasor means by paper based exams, is that there is a set number of questions, with each question having the same score. The Adaptive exams or A exams are based on a minimal number of questions that will allow you to pass.

| I took the 653 NW 5.1 Admin exam this morning. It had 61 questions with a passing score of 608. I got a 731 on it. Pretty easy. I was in and out in 20 minutes, but I administer a several Novell networks. I also used the exam notes from this site and Exam Essentials software. | |

| Well, I am new to here, and new to Novell. My college is including it as part of my degree program. I am taking the Novell test next week, and thanks to you all, I have found out that I am taking the worse of the two Admin tests. Thanks!!! | |

| 653 involves Form Testing, which means that you must answer the question with no opportunity to mark it.
If you have used something like Exam Essentials (In addition to the Clarke IV book), you wouldn't find it as bad.
Know your printing, as that concept has changed and ZEN.
BTW I do agree that A tests are better.
