I took and passed the CCNA years back (507). It expired, I lost interest, gained back my interested, took the CCNA today and passed! The test has taken a 180 degree turn and is much harder than it was before. I would recommend to know VTP inside and out, VLANS, NAT(which Todd's book mentions in less than 100 words), and ip addressing and subnetting. I think more than 20 questions had a network diagram so be familiar with figuring out that quickly. Oh, budget your time accordingly. My first ccna test I finished in 30 minutes and my second I finished with about 5 minutes to spare.

Nice job! 640-507 eh? No sim's, no ip subnet-zero (not sure on that one), a 180 degree turn in deed!

NAT commands seems to have been introduced into the 640-801 test recently (within the past year). They're in the Cisco Press books, but Todd with Sybex just decided to describe it and skip the commands. A lot of people have blamed Sybex for their failing scores because they got hit with NAT questions/sim. You obviously know your stuff though having missed this and still passing.

Your profile shows working on 70-215 next? MCP/MCSA/MCSE? Should be a nice break after hitting the well-written and challenging CCNA exam! I've heard the talk about MS putting sims into their exams, but I don't know if they're bothering with the 2000 Server tests.
