Heya,

I have been pulling my hair out trying to learn subnetting. I wanted to share a cool program I came across that helped me finally 'get it'. Its a practice test generator/tutorial/subnet calc. The coolest part is it generates questions, it doesn't have preset questions or tests so you can generate literally millions of questions.. very cool ;-). After some time with the tests (and tutorial) I'm now able to answer any subnet question correctly without getting myself confused. I would definitely check this out if you are not 100% sure you understand subnetting. You WILL get it after using this tool. Its called Subnet Tutor, here's the url:

Best of luck to you all!

...An almost believable story from yet another person dumping free advertizing on us.

Complaining aside though, anyone else heard of programs specifically designed for subnet training? This is the first one I've seen, other than http://www.learntosubnet.com/ which is mostly free if you just do the web version. Sybex, Transcender, Boson, etc all include subnetting questions but it's mixed in with everything else.
