Author should I upgrade the memory on my 2501s?

Currently they have 4 MB of ROM/RAM. Running IOS 9 and ive heard somewheres that later levels of IOS need more ROM/RAM. Input is appreciated.

Depends on what you want to do with them. If you're using them for CCNA, you probably would get away with keeping that config. More current versions of IOS do need more flash memory and more DRAM. The current versions for the 2501's require 16 MB of each. Both are cheap on ebay. If you upgrade your flash and RAM, you might also have to upgrade boot ROM chips, which are also cheap on ebay.
