Hi there, i passed my Cisco CCNA exam on friday with 909. I felt like walking out half way through because of the pressure, i thought i wouldn't have enough time to get all the questions answered, but i did! I'd just like to thank JAspen for all his help when i was stuck on various parts of the course. A must have to pass the ccna is certsim that comes with the sybex books. If you get the deluxe version it is only £23 to upgrade but the full version is £45, well worth it.

Congrats on the pass. So besides Certsim, and Sybex was there anything else that really helped you pass? What is next for you? CCNP? CCDA?

Congrats again

No thats all i used, apart from i got some material off the internet on NAT which turned out to be really simple to configure. JAspen helped me a lot via email on things i was unsure of. The Sybex book is good but a bit lacking in some areas. The fact that i passed my network + on August 11th 2005 helped me with the CCNA as it covered the basics like the OSi model, routing protocols etc. Certsim has all three CCNA exam question types on it. It has simulators, drag and drop and multi choice.

Congrats again sir! You definitely would have made it without my help. Contrary to popular belief, you british types got good brains in them there heads of yers.

MKRS2318 is one person that bucked the system by only using one book to pass and I commend him for that. Most people (including myself) find it necessary to combine the Cisco Press books along with Sybex (or whomever).

Thanks for the compliments. For those of you who are getting ready to do your CCNA exam or contemplating doing it, once you have grasped the concepts, it is relatively simple, there is a lot to remember but just keep drumming it into your head and you will be fine!
