| I have just updated my 2500 series routers from 11.1 to 12.1. All my routers have 16mb of flash and 16mb DRAM.
Is it possible to update it to 12.3 (enough mem, router capable etc.)and is this worth doing as i am studying for ccna.
2nd, when i press the up arrow to recall old commands, the last coomand is repeated instantly followed by ^@. How can i stop this as it makes configuring really slow.
Cheers in advance | |

| I don't believe that any general development releases of 12.3 are available for the 2500 series. I'd recommend upgrading to the latest full featured 12.2 GD release. I'm not sure why the up arrow would produce those characters. Check your terminal emulator settings, and make sure you're using the correct type of emulation. If necessary, use a different program, or try using ctrl-p to recall previous commands. | |
