if you have a router with a serial interface and a BRI/U interface. Is it ready to go or it needs an NT1 interface to be able to connect to ISDN network...???

Another question

host1

USERNAME hostess1 password S3par3d

encap ppp
ppp auth chap

hostess1

username host1 password S3Par3d

encap ppp
ppp auth chap

and these two are connected through serial int...would the interface be up along with LCP open..when do a sh serial (int number)..!!! or would it be down and LCP closed..!!!

the NT1 is built into the U interface so you can use a Cat5 cable from wall to the WIC-BRI.

I don't understand your config example.

The config example wouldn't work because the passwords are case-sensitive and do not match so PPP authentication will fail.
