Does the 640-801 dwell a lot on the RAT's (Remote Access Technologies)? Just wondering, cause I got enough experience and a decent knowledge base of routing and switching, but just a little ISDN and 56k, but I never really paid much attention to the standards. I'm just wondering how much of the stuff I don't use, do I need to know for the exam?

Know your IDSN and DDR as mentioned in the objectives, but don't spend too long on it.

Thanks for the heads up smrkdown. On that note, are the Cisco Press "CCNA Intro" and "CCNA ICND" self-study guides enough to pass the 801? I do have some routing experience with Cisco routers.

I'd say they'd be enough, but I never limit myself to one source of study information. The Sybex CCNA Study Guide is also good, and CCNA CertSim by RouterSim is excellent.
