| Hi everyone,
I’m getting ready to study for my CCNA exam however the textbook I have is the old CCNA 507. Is it possible for me to use the CCNA 507 textbook for preparation for the New CCNA exam?
Note: I'm very new with the Cisco Technology.

| No. Try the 640-801 version of the Sybex or Cisco Press books. | |

| I have a copy of the Sybex 4th edition ebook whihc includes a cert simulator that can be activated for extra coin.
I also took courses with the cisco academy, my opinion is the Sybex ebook is fantastic.
Sybex has a way of relating most of the confusing aspect into laymans terms. I feel I understand most everything better after reading the Sybex chapters.
But like i mentioned I also took a 3 quarter Community college course that used the Cisco netacad online academy resources as well. SO I already had a basic knowledge before reading the Sybex 4th edition ebook.

| If you have any questions post them and I will try to help you out as much as I can.
My best advice tonight is to relax, watch a funny movie to take your mind of things, go to sleep early and put the book under your pillow in case there is some truth to the knowledge through osmosis theory. (hey, anything that will help, right). Tomorrow morning eat a good breakfast, review your notes, and I am sure you will do fine.
good luck
