Hi, I've really been learning alot reading these forums but still have a bunch of questions regarding this IOS mumbo jumbo. First off what are these "feature sets"? and are they important to consider in setting up a lab? I've been reading things like "IP plus" and "enterprise" what does this all mean? I've been told that if I was to study, I might as well study with gear loaded with the "enterprise" feature set. Also, I need to upgrade a lot of the IOS versions on my gear and was wondering how much it would cost to purchase a relevant version of IOS and its "feature set". I haven't found a place that actually sells IOS but I hear that the CCIE tests are ranking up to version 12.2T, where can I buy that? Not that I heven't done so already but I really don't think the local PC Depot is gonna have this kinda' stuff and I'm also aware of this whole ethical thing about copyright and pirating and what not, and I really don't wanna get involved in that kinda' stuff and just get started on this stuff. Any advice or pointers will be much appreciated, thanks!

then read the 2 links in "featured collateral " for bulletin and Q&A and then the powerpoint slide.

you can contact numerous sellers. cisco.com on the left, ordering, then follow links to buy from whichever source you prefer. for references, go to the online section and check their price so you get an idea.

few hundred-> thousands.
